About me:

Hi, I’m Stuart and I have been a driving instructor since 2017.

I am Aberdeen born and bred and have lived here all my life other than a short adventure south for a few years. I have been married to Claire for 25 years now and am proud to have two grown up sons. We live in Kingswells with our two dogs

When I was 18, as a passenger, I was unfortunate enough to be involved in a very serious road accident and even though I was only a passenger that day, I knew that one day I wanted to teach people to learn to drive safely. The opportunity didn’t arise until 2017 and since then there has been no holding me back.
I love being a driving instructor teaching new drivers how to drive safely for life and passing on my experience to make the pupil as confident as possible behind the wheel.

I trained with The Learner Driver School using modern client centred techniques and passed my most recent standards check first time so you are sure to receive a tailored training course delivered in a calm, friendly manner where all pupils are allowed to progress at their own pace without pressure or criticism.​

I can highly recommend Stuart. He is very friendly and positive, yet at the same time demanding and honest about one’s abilities.
